He received his undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, in 1993 and 2002, respectively. He is a Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and Control at the same university. With over 15 years of experience, he applies soft computing methods to engineering problems, particularly in process control and optimization.
Javier Sanchis Sáez

Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Salamanca. Supervisor of over 64 doctoral theses. Visiting professor at 15 European and American universities, member of 4 scientific societies, principal investigator of over 20 subsidized research projects, and researcher in 18 other projects. Director of Master’s and Ph.D. programs. Winner of awards for scientific and educational excellence in Europe, with over 260 published scientific publications.
Purificación Galindo Villardón
He graduated as an Engineer and obtained a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, and holds a Ph.D. from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain. In 1999, he joined the Department of Communications, UPV, where he is currently a Professor. Since then, he has taught a number of different courses related to computer networking and performance evaluation. His research interests lie primarily in the areas of teletraffic and performance evaluation of communication networks.
Vicent Plá Bosca
Research professor in the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences at University of Guayaquil, he has published more than 30 articles. His main interests are in Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Predictive Time Series Models, Machine Learning, Optimization Algorithms, Renewable Energy Systems, Fuel Cell Transport Phenomena , and Education applied to engineering. He is currently president of the IEEE-Ecuador Computational Intelligence Society.
